Interior drainage, exterior grading, crack injection, or a combination — we scope what your Geneva, OH basement actually needs.
We've walked into plenty of Geneva, OH basements where two or three prior repairs each addressed a different symptom without solving the underlying combination of causes. Diagnosing the full picture first is what actually breaks that cycle.
A wet basement is often caused by more than one contributing factor, and we address the combination, not just the obvious symptom.
Our technicians know the common wet-basement patterns specific to Geneva, OH construction styles and soil conditions.
Whatever combination of repairs your basement needs, the price is quoted in writing before any work begins.
That range means the diagnosis drives the fix, not which single service a narrower contractor happens to offer.
We scope every Wet Basement Repair job in person before quoting it, since two properties with the same symptom rarely need the same fix.
We use moisture meters, visual inspection, and a review of exterior grading and gutters to identify every contributing water source, not just the obvious one.
When groundwater is the primary source, interior drain tile tied to a properly sized sump basin intercepts it before it reaches your floor.
Active wall cracks get epoxy or polyurethane injection as part of a comprehensive wet basement repair, sealed and classified before we move to other work.
A surprising number of Geneva, OH wet basements trace back to grading that slopes toward the foundation or downspouts discharging too close to the wall.
Chronic basement moisture creates conditions for mold growth, and part of our repair scope is getting humidity down to a level that doesn't support it.
That history helps us prioritize what to check first during the on-site visit.
We don't stop at the first obvious cause — chronic wet basements often have more than one contributing factor.
We explain the reasoning behind each recommendation so the plan makes sense, not just a list of line items.
Repairs are completed according to the written scope, and we test the system — pump, drain flow, or injection — before considering the job done.
"Turned out our wet basement was grading AND a failed crack, not just one or the other. Fixing both finally solved it."
— Geneva Homeowner
"Appreciated getting a written diagnosis explaining exactly what they found before any repair work started."
— Geneva Customer
"They coordinated with our mold remediation company since there was already some growth from years of moisture."
— Geneva Homeowner
"Didn't try to sell us the most expensive fix — recommended grading correction first since that was the actual primary cause."
— Geneva Customer
Previous repairs may have addressed only one contributing factor while others were left unresolved — our diagnostic process checks for the full picture.
A written diagnostic summary explains our findings before we recommend any specific repair.
Yes, and it often does — grading, a failed crack, and inadequate drainage frequently combine to create chronic moisture problems.
We focus on moisture control, and we coordinate with mold remediation specialists for visible growth, which falls outside our direct scope.
Every recommendation is itemized in writing so you understand what's driving the total.
We give you a realistic timeline in the written repair plan based on your specific diagnosis.
